The two people whose dream it is to open a do-jang are a father and daughter who have trained in Taekwon-Do with their instructor, family and fellow students for years.

The daughter started taking Taekwon-Do taught ITF-style at a recreation center and has trained in this martial art ever since. When she started, she was a little girl who couldn’t even touch her toes. Now she is a black belt, a national champion in both patterns and sparring, a regular contributor to Taekwon-Do magazines, and able to not only touch her toes but do a full split. At her first school, she earned numerous awards for her dedication, spirit, and technique. Taekwon-Do is her entire life. It has been her dream to start her own do-jang since she was a green belt, but she has never been able to do so. Yet.
Daughter when she sparred at nationals
The father, who had always enjoyed seeing his daughter practice, joined Taekwon-Do three years after she did. Hooked on the martial art immediately, the father quickly rose in ranking and was always a top student at his do-jang, having fantastic technique and near-genius sparring tactics. Despite various injuries, he continued to train his best in Taekwon-Do and even went on to become a national champion in both 
patterns and sparring as well. Extremely skilled not only on the technical side but with the pure spirit of the martial art, he shares the same dream with his daughter and has not only the ability to train Taekwon-Do students the right way but to run the business side.
Before they had to move and therefore leave their first do-jang and first instructor, the Taekwon-Do master had a request for them. He told them that he knew that they both had the skill and smarts to open a do-jang and 
therefore continue to spread the martial art of Taekwon-Do the way it was meant to be taught, and that they should start their own Taekwon-Do school when they moved. The father and daughter want to dearly, but because they do not have enough money to do so, cannot. Yet. If Do-Jang Dreams is successful, a new school of Taekwon-Do can be opened, and its students will benefit amazingly… just like the father and daughter did.
